What school are you currently at and how many years have you been there? Any other schools you went before?

I'm in my first year at Illinois State University. I went to Chandler-GIlbert Community College in Arizona for one year last year.

If you could tell your Grade 12 self something that could help you moving forward what would it be?

If I could tell my grade 12 self anything it would be to not live or die on bad days at baseball. You realize very quickly at college that you are at the field almost everyday and you can either make up for your bad day or make it worse if you let it get to you.  

What major are you taking and why did you choose it?

I chose to major in Finance. The program at Illinois State is well known for their business classes and it is something that I am interested in.

How did being in HRSTC/Rookies college development prepare you for the challenges you face today?

It helped me to prepare for how everything is on schedule in college. You have to make sure that you are at practice on time and ready to go, and you only have a certain amount of time to get things done during practice.

How did you choose to attend Chandler Gilbert and Illinois State?

I chose to go to these schools as they were both places that I was comfortable going. I liked the coaches and they showed lots of interest in me, which told me that I was going to have an opportunity to compete for playing time as soon as I got there.

Favorite baseball memory about being a part of the HRSTC program?

My favourite baseball memory from home run would be our trips to St. Louis. They were a great experience and lots of fun to play with the guys that I had worked so hard with all winter.
