What school are you currently at and how many years have you been there? Any other schools you went before?

I'm in my 3rd year at Mayville State Univerisity in Mayville, North Dakota. This is the only school I have attended since I left the HRSTC Academy.

If you could tell your Grade 12 self something that could help you moving forward what would it be?

If I could go back and tell my 16-year-old self something, it would be that you cannot afford to take days off. I have come to learn that somebody somewhere is working to be better than I am. So, if I am taking a day off, I am letting somebody be better than me and that is unacceptable.

What major are you taking and why did you choose it?

I am majoring in Physical Education. I chose to pursue P.E. because the obesity rate in North America continues to increase. I want to teach young people about fitness and help be apart of the change that sees the obesity rate decrease.

How did being in HRSTC/Rookies college development prepare you for the challenges you face today?

HRSTC had their practices/workouts structured very similar to what college practices/workouts would look like. Having different college and pro players come in and talk to us about what the next level looks like and what you have to do to get to that level helped me prepare for different challenges that a college baseball player would go through.

How did you choose to attend Mayville State University?

A big reason why I chose Mayville State is because it is close to home. They also have a very distinguished education program which made my decision much easier.

Favorite baseball memory about being a part of the HRSTC program?

My favourite baseball memory at HRSTC was travelling south during spring break to play different American teams. It put into perspective of how much more work I needed to put in, to compete with kids from the south.
